Today on my Design Wall

This is what I've been playing with this week. I thought it would be faster to make, but it takes time just to cut all the pieces! The row of half-square triangles and some charming novelty prints add interest. It will be a generous twin size when finished. This is one of those sewing-for-fun, no-thinking quilts.

What a great idea for using scrap strings.

Great stuff!

Very nice! Love it. That's what I am in the process of doing - using up all the scraps to make some great quilts. Hope mine are as nice as this one that you have put together.

J'adore string-and-scrap quilts! This one will be really great Karen! The chosen values add a lot in its powerful impact.

Love it. I'm making a quilt out of lots of wee little strip bits now too. Happy New Year.

Sweet sock monkey is keeping you company! This will be a real melody of all the fabrics you have used lately.
Love it.

Happy Sewing
