Meet Sharyn of Kalama Quilts

At the top of Sharyn's blog: http://www.kalamaquilts.blogspot.com/, it reads: "Where we eat to live, and live to quilt." So right off the bat, you know she has her priorities in order and you can relate to her. Her blog is thoughtful, hilarious and definitely worth the trip. Make a new cup of coffee or tea first. Seriously.

Take a look at the card that she made: it has paper selvages! I never saw that before. It even says "Cut Off Strip" right on it, in case we are wondering what to do. :)

Aged & Confused. Now there is something I can relate to :-) What a great idea to use the "selvages" from scrapbooking paper. It's getting greener out there!

Thanks for letting me know you'd blogged the birthday card ;) My next selvage piece is small but critical to the well-working of a big project. I just have to figure out how to attach it. All the best, Sharyn/KalamaQuilts

LOL, I cut off the strips but can't bear to throw them in the trash - now I know what to do with them :) Lighbulb moment!
