Sue Spargo is a a talented folk art quilter born in Zambia now living in Ohio. She's busy leading workshops and retreats, writing books, and creating patterns. The flowers below are made from felted wool. Lots of embroidery too. This looks like fun.
Take a look at Sue's newest book: Robin Run the Hedge on Amazon. This looks like lots of fun. Have any of you been in her classes?

I have tried to get into her classes when she comes to Sisters, Oregon each summer, but have been full. I did participate in her block of the month program a few years ago, and had a lot of fun with it.
Ooh... I love her style... the mix of fabrics, etc. Love it!
Watched her episode on The Quilt Show
her work is SO fabulous and inspiring
Oh Nifty your quilt is so beautiful you made with the BOM....you should show it off even though it is not quilted yet. Oh and quilting that one should be so smooth compared to the tightly woven backing you are fighting now.
I love the way Sue combines wool and cotton and textures on her designs. I won one of her books earlier this year and have been dreaming of making one of her designs this winter.
Is this picture from a show or is it in her home?
Happy Sewing
I love Sue's colourful folk art style and every wool project I've ever seen. She's an amazing talent!
Big fan and enjoy looking - have to say I haven't jumped in yet! Soon I hope!
Oooo, I want her sofa! It's so pretty!
