Sandy Street's Pink Zinger

Sandy Street of Alabama made this awesome pink zinger selvage quilt! Isn't it great? She machine quilted it using her Brother 1500. Sandy loves to make scrap quilts, and she says she had a lot of fun making this one.

And listen to this! Sandy bought 3 pounds of selvage strips online from Hearthside Quilts in Vermont for $17.95 ($26 incl. shipping). She made this quilt and has plenty left over. The strips were wide enough that she is thinking of making a log cabin quilt too. Here's the link: http://www.nvo.com/hearthside/bargainbasket/item.nhtml?profile=bargainbasket&UID=109
Greetings to our many visitors from Hungary! Let's see what you're sewing:)

A "pink zinger" is just as beautiful as a "red zinger!" I already have my red fabric...now I'm collecting my selvages so I can get started. Love seeing everyone's different takes on this same idea!
