Judy Sebastian of Eastham, Massachusetts (think: Cape Cod...gorgeous National Seashore!) makes quilt collages entirely out of selvages and scraps. She has used selvages for years and she loves it. She sells her collages at the Left Bank Gallery in Orleans, MA. (Phone 508-247-9172) I love this little quilt; there is so much to see. A joyful combination of movement and an anchoring horizon, with two little houses if you need a rest. Nice job, Judy!
Remember the recent post showing the church and the sky-scrapers in my neighborhood of White Plains, NY? Judy once attended a Christmas Eve service at that church as a child (before the sky-scrapers arrived). I picture big fluffy snowflakes and churchbells playing Silent Night.
