Wanna See My New Old Sewing Machine?

If you've been reading the Selvage Blog lately you probably knew this was going to happen: I just bought this charming little sewing machine on eBay! You are the first one I'm telling! It's cast iron and measures only 7" x 7." They say the handle turns and it works, but I think I'll still use my Juki 98Q.

With a hand crank you'd get some exercise. That's is just too cute.

Uh oh! That is how it starts you know. I bought one, just one.
That was 5 or 6 years ago........I now have more than 75 of the little charmers. I call them my Objet d'art

Do you have them on display? Send a photo! I can't wait to see them.

I feel it's my duty as a fellow lover of all things quilty to warn you that these little machines are highly addictive. I love them all!

I have the exact same machine. It used to belong to my great grandmother. I'd like to collect more, but spend too much money on fabric.

Mandylifeboats,
Thanks for that link! The short arm quilting machine is great. I put it on the blog.
