I love how she arranged her selvages, and added three rounded buttons at the top. (She's thinking of rearranging them into a stop-light pattern. I think that's a great idea.) There are pockets on the sides and a zippered pocket inside. This purse has it all! Great job, Joan!I was interested to read that she started making the selvage blocks before she knew what she was going to use them for. That makes sense to me! Very cute purse....I want an onion chair too, wish I was clever enough to make one of my own...lol
I'm beginning to think I might have to check this out. I love all the projects. So far I've only used my fabric selvages for tying up tomato plants! This looks much more fun.
Your selvage works are really amazing. I love all of them!! I made a simple bag with them (http://lascosasdevero.blogspot.com/2009/03/paseando-por-sitges.html) and I am working in a star quilt with them. I like them so much.
